2D Orthomosaic Mapping

A proper aerial map of your land – stitched together from drone photos, corrected so every measurement you take from it is accurate and true to the ground.

+

We fly a set path over your block and bring hundreds of photos together into one seamless, georeferenced map. Because every part of the image lines up with its real location on the ground, you can actually measure distances, areas, and boundaries straight from it. No estimates. No rough guesses. Just a clear, honest record of your land that farmers, developers, councils, and whānau trusts can all put to good use.

Land Management

See your whole block laid out in front of you. Useful for planning works, keeping an eye on what the farm is doing, watching how the land changes with the seasons, or managing resources across a large area.

Site Planning

When you need to plan something properly, a good map is worth a thousand conversations. We produce georeferenced maps with centimetre accuracy so everyone involved in a project can see the full picture, run their analysis, and keep a dated record of how things look right now.

Property Development

From the very first look at a site through to the finished landscaping, aerial maps help designers, planners, and developers stay on the same page. They also make it a lot easier to show council and clients what is actually being put forward.

Progress Tracking

Fly regularly and you end up with a visual diary of your project. You can spot where things are slowing down, confirm that milestones have been reached, and give anyone with a stake in the project a clear, honest view of how it is going.

Insurance Documentation

Photos from the ground after a storm or event often miss how big the damage really is. An aerial map ties it all together in one view and lets you measure the exact area affected – giving your insurance claim the backup it needs.

3D Digital Elevation Model

A detailed picture of how your land sits – every rise, hollow, and slope captured so you can make better decisions about what to do with it.

+

A Digital Elevation Model gives you a true picture of the shape of your land in three dimensions. Whether you are running a farm, putting up a building, or looking after a block for future generations, understanding the ups and downs of your terrain is the foundation of just about every decision you will need to make.

Farming and Drainage

Know where the water goes when it rains. Elevation data helps you work out the best spots for water management, plan drainage runs, and look after your paddocks more effectively – especially useful on the East Coast where the terrain can be steep and the rainfall heavy.

Cut and Fill Planning

Before any earthworks begin, know exactly how much material needs to shift. Solid volume figures lead to better cost estimates, smarter scheduling, and fewer unnecessary machine movements – which all adds up to real savings on the job.

Stockpile Measurement

Aggregate, soil, grain – we can get an accurate reading on your stockpiles from the air without anyone having to crawl over them with a tape measure. Solid numbers you can actually rely on when you need to make a call.

Land and Boundary Survey

Know where your land sits and where it ends. We produce clear, documented aerial maps of boundaries and parcels for landowners, whānau trusts, and developers.

+

Knowing your land is the first step in looking after it properly. We fly your block and put together accurate, georeferenced maps that show your boundaries and parcels clearly. That kind of documentation is valuable for Maori land trusts, hapu, iwi, and individual owners who want to protect their whenua and pass it on in good order.

Erosion Monitoring

Watch how your land is shifting over time and get ahead of problems before they turn into something serious.

+

Out here on the East Coast, slips and washouts are part of life – especially after a big rain event on steep country. We do repeat flights over time so you can compare what the land looked like six months ago with what it looks like today. That comparison shows you exactly where things are on the move, giving you time to act before a small problem becomes a big cost. It also helps when you need to meet environmental reporting or compliance requirements.

Environmental Monitoring

Kaitiakitanga from the sky. We give you the aerial information you need to look after the natural world around you – properly, and with evidence to back it up.

+

Looking after the environment is not just about good intentions – you need good information too. Our flights give kaitiaki, councils, and conservation groups a clear picture of what is happening on the ground, from above. We can map wetland areas, look at plant cover, assess wildlife habitat, and track how things change across seasons. Everything is done with minimal impact on the places we are helping to protect, and the data we gather can support resource consent applications, conservation plans, and ongoing reporting.

Infrastructure Inspection

Get a good look at your structures – bridges, buildings, rooftops, power lines – without putting anyone in a risky spot or bringing in expensive gear.

+

Checking the condition of things used to mean scaffolding, cherry pickers, or sending someone somewhere they probably should not be. We sort that out from the air. Our drone carries a 48-megapixel camera with 7x optical zoom, which means we can get close enough to spot fine cracks, rust forming, loose fixings, and other wear that you would never see from the ground. You get a thorough condition assessment without the cost of heavy machinery or the risk to your crew.

Structural Assessment

Bridges, towers, retaining walls, coastal structures – anywhere that is tricky or risky to get to on foot, we can cover safely from above. The camera resolution means nothing gets overlooked.

3D Building Models

We can build an accurate three-dimensional model of your structure so engineers can take measurements, assess condition, and do their planning from the office. Picking up wear early means sorting it out before it becomes a much bigger job.

Site Information Model

A full digital picture of your site – buildings, services, ground shape, and surroundings all in one place. Not everyone can read a technical drawing, but anyone can understand a 3D model. It helps everyone stay on the same page as a build moves forward.

Community Engagement

Want to show the community what something will look like before it is built? We produce detailed models that let people walk through a space virtually, making consultation with hapu, iwi, or the wider public a lot more useful and genuine.

Cinematography and Events

Beautiful aerial footage and photography for film, events, and everything in between – shot with real respect for the place and the occasion.

+

Aotearoa looks incredible from up top, and we know how to capture it properly. Whether it is a tangi, a hangi, a local hui, a sports event, or a full film shoot, we bring professional aerial ability and a genuine respect for the tikanga of what is happening on the ground. We take the time to understand the significance of the occasion and the place, so the footage we bring back reflects the mana of what you are doing.

How we work

01 — Kōrero

We start by listening. Tell us about your land, your project, and what you are trying to do – we will work the rest out together.

02 — Whakaaro

We plan the flight, get the permissions sorted, and make sure everything is safe and ready before we show up on your doorstep.

03 — Mahi

We get up in the air and get it done – professionally, safely, and with full respect for the site and the people around it.

04 — Hoatu

We hand over your data and deliverables in the format that works for you, with a plain-English explanation of what it all means.
